Mick has been commissioned as sculptor of three major pieces withing the sports entertainment precinct in the city of Melbourne Australia. Positioned on what is known as Birrarung Marr these three works will complete the series making up the 5 clans of the Kulin (Victorian aboriginal) nation. See photos of Micks progress.

- COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2006

Tribal Expressions was a celebration of Victoria's Indigenous culture, showcasing the state's leading Indigenous businesses, artists and performers during the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games (15-26 March 2006). Free art exhibitions and performances, music, dance, theatre and comedy, sample bush foods, buy authentic Indigenous arts and crafts, explore business opportunities, cultural tourism activities and more. Exhibition sites included the Atrium, Federation Square, the Arts Centre, BlackBox and the City Square.

Indigenous Economic Development Conference:
EMBRACING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

26-27 April 2007 Melbourne Australia

The Conference will mark Victoria's first state-wide business conference devoted to facilitating Indigenous economic development opportunities. In addition to valuable keynote presentations, the 2-day Conference will host a dynamic program including practical afternoon workshops, business showcasing, a youth forum and a business networking dinner that will include Koori entertainment.
